I was recently invited to try a variety of Perfectly Posh beauty products. I did a very small amount of research and decided, why not? My skin has always been finicky and sensitive, so maybe I would find something amazing. With my loot I received:
Cackle Spackle (the name alone intrigued me)
Moisturize 911 Caffeinated Face Creme
You guys, this stuff is pretty awesome. I really enjoyed giving myself a mini facial, here’s how:
- First, clean away all the impurities on your face with the gentle exfoliation of the BFF Face Wash. This stuff smells amazing too.
- Then, brush on the cackle spackle. I really felt like this stuff was firming and tightening my skin. It has a mixture of charcoal powder and spearmint, so it really gets down into your pores and clears them out. You leave the mask on for 5-10 minutes. I chose to keep it on for 10 because it has a fun tingling effect. After your time has elapsed, rinse!
- Next, tone. The back of the bottle encourages you to use a toner afterward. I personally use a toner in my everyday routine because my skin loves it.
- Finally, moisturize! I used the 911 Moisturizer and it was like wrapping my face in a soft yet energizing blanket.
I’ve done this routine 3 times now before going to bed and each morning my skin is glowing. This routine is definitely going to keep happening at least 2-3 times a week.
I also recently starteded wearing more lip color but I’m a chapstick-a-holic. It’s a total weakness of mine. To start weening myself off I started trying sugar scrubs. Talk about a lip reset. I don’t use chapstick even half as much I did just 2 weeks ago. Also, nobody is going to judge you if you just lick it off your lips instead of wiping it. Just saying. 🙂
Lastly, when I’m flying for hours and hours on end my skin gets super dry. Specifically my hands. I took my bottle of Big Fat Yummy Hand Creme with me on my last trip and it was a total game changer. I highly recommend this stuff if you work in an environment that requires you lots of hand washing or copious amounts of hand sanitizer.
Anyway, I know not all beauty products are created equal but I was really impressed with the few I tried from Perfectly Posh. I am not a consultant, nor do I have plans to start, but if you’re interested in trying something out you can contact my girl Jessie at jmcperfectlyposh@gmail.com. You can also shop her site from here.
