Hey y’all! I’m sorry I’ve been slacking on the blog posts lately, life has just been a little crazy. The past couple months I’ve been flying a bunch for our upgrade process, leaving little time for my favorite hobby. I apologize for leaving you hanging. If you want to know what I’m up to you can always follow me on Instagram @_thetravelingblonde, where I post almost daily and you can get a peek into my everyday life. Anyway, down to business. I really love this outfit. First, because it’s comfy. Second, this concept can apply to nearly all of your fall and winter sweaters. Unless of course you live in Arizona or Florida, then maybe not. Then you’ll already be wearing rompers and dresses and I hate you. (jk ♥) Finally, because it’s almost spring and I cannot wait to transition to skirts and dresses full time!
If you read my last post (here) you’ll remember I mentioned a boutique called Ooh La Loft, which is where I found my favorite crisscross back sweater. They have recently changed their name to Ooh La Luxe, so here is their new site. I found this lace-up knit there too! I love this sweater because it pairs easily with nearly everything. It’s heavy enough for cool evenings yet, not too chunky to wear under a light jacket. I’ve been searching for a cute leather mini for some time now. I wanted one that fit well but wasn’t so tight or short that I felt the constant need to cover up. Enter my zip-up one from Nasty Gal. Ladies, you cannot go wrong with this leather mini. I’m telling you, it’s amazing. I chose to pair this outfit with black booties because it’s simple and it was pretty chilly the day we shot. However, you can EASILY wear this with heels, OTK boots, flats, etc. Whatever your heart desires really. I’ve linked my picks and a few other options below. Happy shopping!
